About the McSwain

This magnificent family destination attracts a wide variety of music fans of all ages.

History

The Opening Act

The McSwain Theatre has a long history full of imagination and entertainment.

Prominent Ada businessman Foster McSwain built the theater in 1920 as a home for silent films and vaudeville acts.

Mr. McSwain decided to make the theater business a career after he saw his first motion picture in 1910 in Enid, Oklahoma.

Meet the Band

McSwain’s longtime performer Jae L. Stilwell, along with the Crossover Band, entertain McSwain patrons each month, performing everything from country renditions of favorite songs to classic hits. Jae L. and the Crossover Band have more than 30 years of experience in the music business and performing. The group was established in 2009 and have performed at numerous venues and events, including the KSBI Oklahoma Live show.
