Jae L. and Crossover to perform along with special guests for April showcase

ADA, Okla. – Vocalists from Oklahoma and Texas will join Jae L. Stillwell and the Crossover band 7 p.m., Saturday, April 20, 2019 on the historic McSwain Theatre stage.

Special guests include Shannon Herrod from Elmore City, Pat Payne from Ringling, Breana Britt from Roff, Maddox Ross from Choctaw, Cathy Lake from Runaway Bay, Texas, Tanner Massey from Choctaw, Bryanna Swan from Pawhuska and Chandler Elliott from Ada.

For nearly 100 years the McSwain Theatre has offered a compelling variety of entertainment to Ada residents and visitors alike. Vaudeville acts, silent films, major motion pictures and live musical performances have helped make the theatre a staple of the area entertainment scene.

As a music destination, the McSwain brought in the likes of Roy Rogers, Dale Evans, Patti Page, Neal McCoy, Ray Price and The Osmond Brothers, amongothers. Blake Shelton was a regular on the Jae L. show for a year and a half in the 1990s.

Monthly Jae L. and Crossover shows offer local, up-and-coming artists an audience, stage, microphone and full band.

The shows often encourage audience participation and interaction. Performances span many genres, including everything from country to classic hits.

Crossover musicians have decades of combined experience performing with a variety of artists. Band members include Jae L. Stilwell, Jody Teeter, Wayne Morton, Mike Price, Gary Bryan, Kenny Anderson, Debbie Allen, Tara Scott, Deni Stubbs and Greg Griffin.
