ADA, Okla. – Vocalists from Oklahoma and Texas will join the Jae L. Stilwell and the Crossover band to offer live music harkening back to the happy days of golden oldies. The throwback show is 7 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 16, at the historic McSwain Theatre, 130 W. Main St.
February’s show celebrates the rock, pop and country hits of the 50s and 60s.
Guest vocalists have planned performances of favorites like Chuck Berry’s “Rock and Roll Music,” Jerry Lewis’ “Great Balls of Fire,” the Everly Brothers’ “Dream,” the Righteous Brothers’ “Unchained Melody,” Buddy Holly’s “That’ll be the Day,” Brenda Lee’s “Sweet Nothin’s,” and Elvis Presley’s “Hound Dog,” among others.
Special guests include Chandler Elliott, Dwayne Yoesting and April Davis of Ada; Calli Mikal of Durant; Missy Rude and Wiley Winters of Pauls Valley; Stan Green of Edmond; and Nicole Fuentes of Sherman, Texas.
Tishia Agee – as heard on 89.5 FM, KCNP radio – will serve as master of ceremonies.
Jae L. and Crossover shows encourage audience participation and interaction. The band routinely takes requests and suggestions from the audience.
Crossover’s musicians have decades of combined experience performing with artists who specialize in all genres of music. Band members include Jae L Stilwell, Jody Teeter, Jeff Donaldson, Deni Stubbs, Greg Griffin, Wayne Morton, Mike Price, Gary Bryan, Kenny Anderson, Debbie Allen and Tara Scott.
