The McSwain Theatre will offer back-to-back screenings of Dr. Seuss’ “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” to the public at no charge before this year’s Pat Taylor Memorial Parade of Lights 7 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 6, in downtown Ada.

The short cartoon will begin playing at 4 p.m. and run until the beginning of the Christmas parade at 7 p.m. The grouchy green Grinch plans on making an appearance.

Meet, greet and take your photo with the Grinch and Cindy Lou Who 3-6:30 p.m. Complimentary hot chocolate will be available.

In the cartoon adaptation of the classic Dr. Seuss children’s story, a grumpy hermit called the Grinch hatches a plan to steal Christmas from the Whos of Whoville. It stars Boris Karloff and June Foray.

The McSwain Theatre, 130 W. Main St., has been a part of the Ada downtown entertainment scene since 1920. It is one of Oklahoma's premiere live entertainment venues, with performances featuring all types of music including country, rock, gospel, oldies and more.
