Acoustic gospel group, The Isaacs, to perform at McSwain Theatre April 14

ADA, Okla. -  Tennessee-based country and bluegrass gospel music band, The Isaacs, will present their unique blend of instrumentation and vocal harmony 7 p.m., Saturday, April 14 at the historical McSwain Theatre.

Band members Lily Isaacs, Ben Isaacs, Sonya Isaacs Yeary and Becky Isaacs Bowman have recorded more than 20 albums with a musical style influenced by many genres of music including bluegrass, rhythm and blues, folk, country, contemporary, acoustic and southern gospel.

Their most recent release, “Nature’s Symphony in 432: A Journey from Pain to Praise” will be a highlight of the performance.

The Isaacs, who have been performing since the early ’70s, have shared the stage with such musical giants as Dolly Parton, Trace Adkins, Brad Paisley, Paul Simon, Vince Gill, Randy Owen, Trisha Yearwood, Ralph Stanley and Mark Lowry.

The band performs on the Gaither Homecoming Videos and Concert Series and is a frequent guest on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry. The Isaacs also travel internationally to perform for fans in South Africa, Norway, Holland, Scotland, Ireland, Israel, Canada and many other countries.

The group has performed at the Dove Awards, International Bluegrass Music Association and National Quartet Convention Awards, as well as the Inspirational Christian Country Awards.

Other notable performances include Country Music Fan Fest, Carnegie Hall, and many professional sporting events, including a Cincinnati Bengal's football game, Nashville Predators hockey game, and an Astros vs. Braves baseball game.

The Isaacs have won more than seven Doves in various categories and have had several Grammy nominations.

Ticket prices range from $18-25 depending on seat placement. A VIP experience, which costs $35, includes a meet-and-greet at 6:15 p.m. at the theatre, located at 130 N. Main in Ada.
