ADA, Okla. -- Jimmy Osmond, youngest member of the celebrated Osmond family, will honor the memory of famed pop music crooner Andy Williams with a performance at the McSwain Theatre, Saturday, Oct. 28, at 7 p.m.

Williams, who died in 2012, recognized the family’s talent and helped make the Osmonds famous.

“Moon River and Me” is the Andy Williams estate’s only authorized show to celebrate his award-winning music. Osmond is spotlighting Williams’ songbook with an international tour.

“It’s a great opportunity for me to honor my mentor and friend, Andy and keep his legacy alive,” Osmond said.

Osmond's performance is full of Williams’ classic tunes made famous from a musical catalog of 44 albums, including 17 gold and three platinum releases. Memorable tunes like “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You,” “Happy Heart,” “Music to Watch Girls By” and Williams signature song “Moon River” are tunes McSwain attendees can expect.

A show featuring an Osmond would not be complete without some of the chart-topping hits that made Jimmy and his siblings famous. Listeners can also expect “One Bad Apple,” “Love Me for a Reason,” and “Long-Haired Lover from Liverpool,” to name a few.

Osmond began his performing career at age three as a guest on the Andy Williams television variety show.

Last year marked Osmond’s 50th anniversary in show business.

“Moon River and Me” will be full of music, nostalgic footage and special memories. It’s a perfect pairing for fans of the Osmonds and Williams, and is sure to be a memorable entertainment experience for listeners keen on pop music from bygone times.
