Local artists to perform at the McSwain

ADA, Okla. -- Continuing the tradition of offering quality entertainment in downtown Ada, the McSwain Theatre will host Jae L. Stilwell and the Crossover band, a marquee attraction, 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, at the historic theater, 130 W. Main Street.

The Jae L. and Crossover Show entertain monthly to offer an evening filled with country, classics and other favorites. It is a variety show featuring guest appearances by local up-and-coming artists.

This month’s performers hail from Ada, Wilburton, Lawton and Elmore City.

Jimmy Tignor, Tom Schultz, Mary Alford and Mark Byers are all Ada residents. Jana Lee is from Wilburton, Shannon Herrod is from Elmore and Britney Rodgers is from Lawton.

America’s ‘50s and ‘60s will be celebrated in the upcoming February show, complete with leather jackets, poodle skirts and golden oldies.

The McSwain Theatre offers family-friendly films throughout the year on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with screenings at both 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
